So what actually are values? Values are what really matter to us, and are fundamental to how we live our lives. When we are clear on what is important to us, our values become the guiding principles that support our decisions and the actions we take.
Finding harmony at work can be especially challenging when there is a disconnect between your values and those of your organisation. Work can feel draining, and conflict can often arise. However, true value alignment will not only help build a supportive, trusting environment, but will lead to better outcomes for you and those you serve through your work.
Today I give you some prompts to help you discover what your top values are, and get clear on what really drives you. I encourage you to be honest with yourself, knowing that there are no right or wrong answers when it comes to what you value.
