Can you believe we’re in July already? While it’s certainly been a big year so far, and I know bushfires, storms and then COVID have impacted many of our abilities and focus to achieve our goals for 2020. But let’s be honest, we still have 6 months left. And a lot can happen in 6 months when we’re committed and focused. So if you’re keen to shift the dial in your life, I invite you to join me and let’s finish 2020 strong together!
Are you in?
Here’s what you need.
Simplify your focus to amplify your result
First things first you need to be clear on what you’re working towards. (If you need some help check out the guide to setting & achieving goals.)
But to create significant progress you need to have a single focus. Yep, just one goal.
Now I know this is tough. In fact, it’s the thing I struggle with most (should I focus on my health? Or my career? Or growing my business?) But doing this is essential as it concentrates our efforts and increases our impact, ultimately amplifying our results and allowing a strong finish to the year.
Commit to finishing 2020 strong
Map out the key actions that need to be completed to achieve your goal. Then create a plan that allows the time needed to undertake these actions and achieve these milestones.
Schedule this time in and then protect it fiercely, because no one else can do this for us. We need to keep our eyes on the prize and not allow people’s agenda to determine our success.
Don’t look back
Seriously, let’s commit right now, get into action and not look back.
Because when we allow ourselves to start to reconsider the goal our brains try to talk us out of doing what needs to be done. Do not indulge this and let’s keep moving forward, day by day, step by step.
So here goes!

I absolutely love this! Working with you Bec, over the past 5 weeks has been amazing! We have worked on getting my health back into tip-top condition and losing weight! After suffering with a back injury for over a decade, I finally feel in control of what I need to do to get this back to 100% and live pain-free. I have lost 5.5kgs in 4 Weeks, and although my back is still giving me problems I am taking charge of sorting it out and not in a hole about the pain anymore! Previously putting off getting an MRI and seeing a specialist, I have now made my appointments!
I have found focusing on my health first and foremost has helped everything else fall into place nicely behind! XOX
It’s powerful when you look at all the things you want to achieve and work backwards, it can be so clear what you need to take care of first. In your case looking after your health was essential and I love that you’ve now taken not only ownership but also control. Well done Amy – Keep up the amazing work!
