FAQ's
How long is the career master plan session?
Is the call confidential?
The call itself is 30 minutes but you’ll also want to allow some time ahead of the session to complete the questionnaire. This will help you get clarity and will also help me understand where you’re at right now, so we can maximise our time together. I recommend allowing 10 mins to complete the questionnaire.
The call is confidential.
What is the commitment if I book a session?
There is no commitment beyond completing the questionnaire and showing up!
In some instances, some women decide to engage me as their Coach but this is completely optional and dependent on me having an available spot in my coaching schedule and whether we are the right fit for each other.
I want to have a free career session, but I'm not sure I have the time to complete the questionnaire. Can I still attend the session?
No. If the questionnaire isn’t completed the session will be canceled. This is because the questionnaire is an essential part of helping to formulate your Career Master Plan as it helps you get clarity and me to understand exactly where you are at and where you want to go. And because I respect your time, as well as my own, and I don’t show up to meetings unless I’m properly prepared, so please be sure to complete the questionnaire ahead of time.
What will I get at the end of the session?
At the end of the session you’ll receive your personal Career Master Plan that will act as your roadmap detailing your next steps to pursue your dreams, both professionally and personally. This will give you the clarity and confidence to move forward and to be more assertive and in-control of your time and your future.
I am very ambitious, but I don’t know exactly what I want to do? Will this session help me?
Yes, absolutely. Through the questionnaire and 1-on-1 session you’ll be intentionally guided to get clarity on what the right role may be for you.
I’m busy at the moment. Can I book a session later?
No. Unfortunately I only offer these sessions periodically, when my workload permits, so spaces are in high demand. I suggest if you are ready to take control to book in as soon as possible so you don’t miss out.
I can’t find a time that suits my schedule. Are you able to do any other times?
Unfortunately not, as I offer a limited number of these sessions in around my existing client commitments. But if you are ready to take action and create the career you want, then I suggest booking an available session in.
What level of my career do I need to be at to book a session?
While I work with driven women at all stages of their career, this session will best suit mid-level professionals with approx 5-10 years experience.
This sounds too good to be true, why do you do this for free?
Haha, I love this question. I do this because I’m in a position where I can. And after nearly 2 decades of being overlooked and spoken down to, I want to see more empowered women leaders in senior leadership positions, so that we can change the culture of these industries and see a more diverse, inclusive and equitable workforce.
How do I know if I work in a male-dominated industry?
If most of your colleagues and leaderships are male, then you qualify. But generally speaking the following industries are considered male dominated:
- Banking & Finance
- Audit & Consultancy
- Property & Construction
- Politics
- STEM industries: Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics
